International Celebrity Cricket League

The International Celebrity Cricket League (ICCL) is a non-professional cricket league to provide opportunities for Differently-abled professional players to showcase their talents or abilities through Sports Entertainment platform.

Celebrities or Role Models from the Sports and Entertainment industries also join together in a contest platform designed to raise global awareness and importance of inclusive society while celebrating abilities and not disabilities, empowering our communities and achieving economic prosperity.

ICCL HAP CUP (Happiness Belongs to All) is organised every year in December month to celebrate International Day of People with Disability through ICCL CRICKETAINMENT global platform (Cricket with Cause) while supporting “enabled” professional players career progression and promoting for more accessible opportunities to prosper and inspire others.

ICCL HAP CUP Tournament primarily representes differently-abled professional players with physically challenged backgrounds in India. With each year of tournament we continue to include other differently-abled professional players (both visible and invisible) including women professional players and organising more inclusive tournament for all talents.

ICCL aim is to organise 3 tournaments globally to spread awareness, empowerment and acceptance: HAP CUP (Player’s focused); INTERNATIONAL HAP CUP (Player’s contesting against other countries); CELEBRITY HAP CUP (Influential former players and celebrities with a hybrid contest match).

Many professional players with NEURODIVERSITY spectrum/backgrounds are also included and supported through ICCL vision. Mainly focus on AUTISM, DYSLEXIA, ADHD and many other related learning difficulties/disorders and supporting for inclusive opportunities for all differently-abled communities. Collaborations from these sporting events are channeled to organizations that provide research and support services for these players and professional growth opportunities.

Anand Chukka (ICCL Founder and Event Director) has combined two areas of professional expertise and personal passion to establish a social impact enterprise organization that utilizes Sports and Entertainment platform to raise global awareness in promoting inclusive society and focus on abilities and not disabilities. ICCL’s approach is also to involve celebrity or role models in sporting event platforms that reach out to all levels of society, build bigger awareness globally and attract wider communities to a greater acceptance, partner with research, corporate and nonprofit organisations in supporting projects including creating more employability opportunities, that make a real difference to those impacted.

Through the higher levels of participation, engagement and collaborations with differently-abled players which in turn opens new window of opportunities for corporates, philanthropists, researchers, professionals, celebrities, policy makers, influencers, supporting charity organizations to all join hands in creating an inclusive and prosper society. This allows many other organizations to embrace, inspire and create new initiatives via corporate (collaborative) social responsibility, sustainability or social license activities to benefit from these hidden talents and contributing towards equal, employability opportunities and economic prosperity.
